Im not putting this in any specific server area as it applies to all (or none i guess lol)
So the deathmaze on the altis server was a good idea and fun. Got me thinking about events ive done in the past or ideas ive had, so that we can continue to have dynamic and fun events!
1 - Triathlon. Run/swim/bike from one point to the next. Can be morphed into a more "arma" feel. Race hunters to one area, hop in boats to another, hop in choppers to the next. Etc etc
2 - Admin convoy - admins are in an armored vehicle, with guards or not, driving around the map making a ruckus, first person or team to bring them down gets a prize.
3 - admin holdout/hostage - admins are geared up and hold out in a building of some sort, for holdout, each admin kill would win you a prize. for hostage, same applies with the added bonus that whoever saves the hostage gets a prize (that is the last person alive to escort the hostage from whatever building or complex they were in.)
3 VIP - admin/player version. Admin version, admins have a VIP they are escorting from point a to point b, players try to t take out the target for a prize. lesser prizes can be given for admin kills. Player version, players form a team and try to extract VIP from point a to point b , admins will try to kill the VIP and/or players.
4 - Demolition derby - self explanatory, cars for players whoever's the last one standing wins
5 - Vaults - this is a really cool recurring one ive done in the past. Once a month, or once a week or two weeks whatever is decided is the day where the vaults change. Vaults would be safes/lockboxes placed secretly around the map. On the forums you have clues posted, riddles. Either to what the code to the safe was (in A2) or the location or coords of the lockbox. Inside is gold, high value guns, loot etc. Its fun because it ties people from the game to the forum. And it gives people something to look forward too. Also, you are to do research and think outside of the game.
